Chezo Mokgwatsane is a seasoned professional with over 28 years of experience across both corporate environments and entrepreneurial ventures. His career spans 14 years in corporate roles and over a decade in private business and entrepreneurship, giving him extensive expertise in areas such as investment banking, audit and risk management, business development, strategy, corporate social investments, enterprise development, and food and agricultural investments.
An innovative and skilled lead negotiator and deal maker, Chezo brings robust entrepreneurial skills to the table, with a strong background in sourcing funding for projects and new investments. His ability to navigate complex negotiations and drive successful business deals has been a hallmark of his career.
Chezo holds a Master’s of Management in Entrepreneurship and New Venture Creation from Wits Business School and a Master’s in Business Administration from Tshwane University of Technology.
At CTAP, Chezo is focused on leveraging his diverse experience and entrepreneurial acumen to support the growth and development of SMEs. His core mandate is to evolve CTAP’s business model into a self-sustaining and self-funded environment. He believes that social investments should transition into circular economies, where initial beneficiaries grow to become benefactors.
Chezo will also lead the development of disruptive distribution models based on data collated within the CTAP ecosystem and optimized through AI-driven supply chain solutions. He is passionate about fostering a culture of entrepreneurship and innovation that empowers businesses to thrive and contribute to sustainable economic transformation.
