Petrus van Dyk, affectionately known as Pierre, is a multifaceted IT specialist with a deep passion for both business and technology. His extensive skill set spans various domains, including systems and network infrastructure, digital forensics, secure data destruction, PBX systems, and cloud solutions. Certified in multiple technical areas, Pierre has worked across diverse industries, from the hospitality sector to digital forensic investigations for the National Prosecuting Authority of South Africa.

Pierre’s notable achievements include significantly reducing project timelines for the NPA and introducing innovative POS system designs for the hospitality sector. His expertise in crafting remote working solutions for SMEs further highlights his forward-thinking approach to IT challenges. As CTAP’s National Cyber Security Officer, Pierre is eager to leverage his technical acumen to ensure the security and integrity of the organization’s systems, while empowering SMEs through cutting-edge technology solutions. Outside of the tech world, Pierre enjoys spending time with his family and engaging in sports, having previously played provincial rugby and softball.
