Terence Nkhwashu is an accomplished business leader with a wealth of experience in strategy, planning, and human capital management. As the Chief Executive Officer of CTAP, he brings a visionary approach to the organization, ensuring that its strategic goals align with its mission of empowering SMEs and driving economic transformation in South Africa.
Terence's career spans multiple industries, including energy, mining, and financial services, where he has consistently demonstrated a deep commitment to people development and business transformation. He holds a National Diploma and B.Tech in Human Resources from Technikon Northern Gauteng and Technikon SA, respectively. Further enhancing his leadership capabilities, Terence completed the Accelerated Leadership Development Programme with Absa/Barclays Group and earned both a Master of Arts and a Doctorate in Leadership and Management from Logos University, specializing in strategy and planning.
During his doctorate studies, Terence envisioned leading an organization dedicated to scaling small businesses and unlocking their potential to drive economic growth from the ground up.
When the founding members of CTAP presented him with their business model, he recognized it as the perfect embodiment of his aspirations—what he saw as a moment of divine intervention.
